Eddie Echidna

Eddie moans: I've got a bad feeling about this.

Eddie is 7 human years old and is the worrier of the gang. Cautious, shy and slow moving, he's a believer in Murphy's law - if something can go wrong, it will go wrong. But Eddie isn't spineless. He's the gang's secret weapon and his sharp spines are a potent weapon against the feral cats.

In times of danger or stress, Eddie curls up in a tight ball and no one can move him. The only way to uncurl him is to offer him his favourite food - ants. Eddie particularly loves the sweet honey ants but when he eats too many, he becomes like a hyperactive child who's drunk too much red cordial. In this state, Eddie will attempt anything before he inevitably crashes out.
